Carlena Gourdine, AKA "CrazyCee"of CrazyCee Productions, was born in the early 70's. She has been THE PROUD OWNER OF THIS NAME since November 5, 1980. I was given the name from fellow classmates who enjoyed my witty personality and outgoing style, not to mention my HARDCORE DEDICATION to Dancing. At such an early age I knew my calling. I've always shown great leadership potential. I was always asked to participate in all school performances and even to choreograph them when they got a glance at my out-going energetic style! I have the ability to touch people wherever I go, and people always seem to follow! I was born and grew up being a part of the business. My parents, Carlton J. Gourdine & Rosa L. Williams, both had careers in the industry. My mom was a hair stylist in Queens, NY (retired) whose clientele consisted of quite a few celebrities. She often was styling their hair for performances, photo shoots, etc. My father, now retired, worked for WNBC news 4 New York for 31yrs. Throughout his career he has had several different titles such as: Live Radio disc jockey/ Engineer/Camera Man. He also had a Morning show when I was growing up with IMUS IN THE MORNING. He was "FLASH" Imus's sidekick, not to mention he owned nightclubs in NYC as well.
I, Carlena "CrazyCee" Gourdine, have been dancing since I was old enough to walk. I've been teaching since I was old enough to make sense. I am basically self-educated. However, I did take several courses & lessons with diverse styles of dance to enhance my knowledge and strength in the arts. I don't believe in limitations. "A limit is something that we program ourselves to believe, but in reality we are what we want to be in life.'' Whatever path we choose to go down is no fault of anyone but our own! One of my strong mottos is:"The only way to make your dreams come true, is to WAKE UP!" Both Quotes: from Ms. Carlena CrazyCee Gourdine! As you can see I'm very ambitious & multi-talented. You name it I've done it or in the process of doing it! I have traveled to many places on tour with MTV or recording artist, performing, workshops, judging competitions, public speaking, demonstrations or vacations. While I was traveling I learned about many different cultures, the ins and outs of producing and directing and dealing with the politics of the industry.

I've held profit and non-profit dance demonstrations, choreographer for some of the top names in the business, trained several dancers for celebrities, produced and directed many workshops and master classes, previously owned an urban dance academy and was selected to judge a national state dance competition for over 1000 dancers all over the United States. Judging the competitions gave me the ability to cater to, educate and accommodate diverse cultures and ethnicities. The greatest thing I've learned throughout all my traveling is that the universal language is "DANCE!" I have trained with the best and trained the best. I have had the privilege of working with all races of people through dance. The one thing I really enjoy is filling peoples lives with education, knowledge, wisdom, power, strength, history and happiness. If I can touch one person a day with my words and talents my job is complete and all the triumphs are worthwhile!
